N°6 PRIVATE APARTMENT INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT

Interior vision for a four-person family home in Žvėrynas, Vilnius

Functional solutions. The main challenge of this interior design project was to accommodate three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open kitchen–living area within a compact 73 m² space. Despite the efficient layout, the interior is highly functional, with strong emphasis on custom-built furniture design to maximize the potential of the limited space. Dedicated work-from-home and study areas were integrated into the bedrooms. Soft night-time floor lighting was also planned for convenient use during the dark hours.

Creative concept. The interior follows a Scandinavian design style, featuring earthy tones and natural materials. Since the apartment is oriented to the northwest and receives limited natural daylight, light and warm colors dominate the interior to keep the space as bright as possible. A moss-green accent color was chosen as a key design feature. This shade, often associated with nature and calmness, perfectly complements the overall atmosphere created in the interior.
