N°3 APARTMENT IN PAUPYS, VILNIUS
Creative concept
The interior features design solutions inspired by the Japandi style, which embraces practical minimalism and a love for nature and natural materials. The main material direction combines natural oak and travertine stone, complemented by stainless steel details. Together, these elements create a clean yet cozy home environment, free from excessive decoration. The fireplace in the living area acts as a finishing element of the entire interior, creating a sense of relaxation and calm.
Functional solutions
To preserve a sense of spaciousness in this relatively small home, the partition separating the sleeping area is made of transparent glass. Mirrors are incorporated into selected cabinet doors, enhancing the feeling of openness. The lighting is warm and layered, featuring different types of fixtures – ceiling and wall lights, hidden LED strips in niches, a floor lamp, and a table lamp. This allows the space to be illuminated in different scenarios depending on the needs. In the bathroom, for aesthetic and minimalist reasons, the traditional towel radiator was eliminated and replaced with a heated wall with hooks, which effectively serves the drying function.
