N°1 PRIVATE HOUSE LEISURE & SPORTS AREA INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT

We completed this interior in 2022. It is a 100 m² space located on the basement level of a private house, previously used as a storage cellar. The homeowners saw great potential in these premises and approached NOLA Interior Studio with the goal of transforming them into a cozy family leisure and fitness area.

The interior is dominated by soft earthy tones, wood textures, and black accents. A high-quality cedar wood sauna was installed. Cedar panels are highly valued for the essential oils contained in the wood, which are beneficial for health, as well as for their resistance to moisture and high temperatures. The sauna’s atmosphere is enhanced by concealed LED lighting.

The training zone features a large mirror for exercises, a spacious storage cabinet for workout equipment, and a widescreen TV with a Soundbar audio system. The relaxation area includes a modern massage chair, a sofa, and a children’s play corner. A shower and WC were also installed, along with a ventilation (heat recovery) system and smartphone-controlled lighting.

This interior incorporates many activities that positively influence both emotional and physical well-being, which was the main design priority. The space quickly became the family’s favorite leisure spot, especially during the colder season when more time is spent at home.
